Silvia D. Manashirov, Founding Partner
Silvia D. Manashirov is the founding partner at SDM Law. She is a plaintiffs’ medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and catastrophic injury attorney whose practice is dedicated to representing individuals and families affected by serious preventable harm.
Before founding SDM Law, Silvia was a Partner at a major medical malpractice defense firm for over a decade, where she litigated the utmost complex and high exposure cases defending hospitals, healthcare systems, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and medical professionals in complex litigation. She handled high-exposure cases involving birth injuries, traumatic brain injuries, delayed diagnoses, surgical complications, and other catastrophic outcomes. That experience provided an in-depth understanding of how healthcare institutions investigate claims, evaluate risk, develop defenses, and prepare cases for trial.
She also previously served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Central Islip, NY, and served for the Office of the Nassau County Attorney, Civil Litigation Bureau.
Today, Silvia applies that knowledge on behalf of injured patients and families. Her practice is built on the belief that complex cases require more than compassion alone. They require meticulous preparation, strategic thinking, deep medical understanding, and a commitment to pursuing every detail necessary to tell a client’s story accurately and effectively.
